solitaire in solitude...
so this is what millions of people fought to save, the thing that thousands value, that hundreds thank god for, that we should be blessed to have...this is the thing called life.
yes, life - the thing that we all try to understand and try to gain meaning to. the thing everyone talks about in their blogs. life. this very simple four letter word means so much to so many...and nothing to others. this little thing has been contemplated over by the worlds biggest..and the worlds smallest. this is the thing that Aristotle, Plato and hundreds of other spent their entire lives philosophizing over. they probably thought, hey if i contemplate life forever, the odds of me one day understanding it are good. ohh how wrong and mistaken we all are. no matter how hard you examine it, the answer never comes. the answers are never there. life is the test that you never get back, the test that will remain unmarked...until that one day when you are old and gray and choose to mark it yourself. and when that time comes, to us our lives, these test will be failures. we will look at our life and how we played it out and we will not be satisfied...we will have all those regrets, all those missed moments, all those screw ups...and we will not be happy...
we use the past as our example and the present will be our followers. life is life. it is meant never to be understood, just as the pyramids of Egypt. take it from madonna the singer, actor, etc., "life is a mystery, everyone must stand alone..." so i say play solitaire in solitude...and then maybe one day you'll figure it out.

i think it is a great idea to philosophize your life. in what you believe in, in what life brings. the idea to philosophize your life means to coem to a better understanding what your life means to you. and by figuring that out you will be able to live the life that you truely love and understand.
anonymous...i'm not saying that it is wrong to philosophize your life...many do it, heck even i do. but how many of us lose sleep over it? how many of us don't like what we figured out?
philosophizing our lives is a risk...a risk that some people are never ready to make.
