lies...

i find it funny how people lie to themselves to make life easier to deal with. we all see it and do it everyday of our lives. we lie to ourselves and to others to make the truth that much more hidden from our eyes and the eyes of others.

but why?

why do we go through it all? i mean sure the lies help. life does get a little bit easier, but for how long? is it even worth it all? is it worth the pain we inflict on ourselves and others in the long run? why bother lying if in the end one way or another our lies will be brought to the open when you lease expect it? why risk all that pain and heart ache for?

i really see no point to lying to yourself, but the funny thing is i do it every single day of my life...
